Equipment Shed

Project Description

The guys always enjoy putting up a large building. This one didn't disappoint. Textured Light Stone walls and Textured Hunter Green roof and wainscot make this a nice equipment shed for any farm or acreage.

Project Phases

The Original Open Face Shed

This building had served its purpose for many years. We had the opportunity to remove it and build a new and bigger building.

Framing

Once the materials arrive it doesn't take long for the building to take shape. Starting with the layout we find the building corners and mark where each hole should be drilled. Then it's as simple as putting the "columns" where they belong.
After that we do things like planting the posts in crushed rock, putting on grade board and making sure everything is straight.

The Roof Goes On

60' trusses make a nice building. Just over 37' long, the roof panels are one piece.

The Finished Building

Plenty of storage space and plenty of access. A 40' wide Powerlift door may not be necessary for every shed but when you need to store big equipment it becomes an asset.
This shed was built over existing concrete which used to be part of a cattle lot. We think it came out pretty nice.
